For this single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, we take an equally distinctive approach in the cellar. The wine is fermented directly in new French oak barrels, an exacting and labor-intensive technique associated with some of Napa Valley’s most celebrated wines. This intimate contact with the oak from the very beginning builds incredible texture, richness and complexity while allowing the character of the vineyard to remain at the forefront.
Following fermentation, the wine spends 30 months aging in new French oak, emerging with remarkable depth, structure and a beautifully polished finish. Generous enough to enjoy now yet built for years in the cellar, this is Cabernet Sauvignon meant to be savored.
